My name is Maryalyce Poole I am a person with a mental illness known as Bipolar. I have been in remission for 23 years. For the past 13 years I have been a Recovery specialist at Chesterfield Mental Health Chesterfield Virginia. Hope has been the essence of my life.

  • “We are saved by this hope, and let us remember that hope always means waiting for something that we do not yet see? But if we hope for something we cannot see, then, we must settle down to wait for it in patience.” Romans 9:24-25

My Mission Statement :

I will work to provide spiritual intersession in the lives of those who suffer. I will work to alleviate human sufferings through H.O.P.E. Hope to to me is a not a wish, but a commitment on how I live my life. 

Help my self first, then help others
Overcome barriers
Prevent the mental pain (Through prayer, prescriptions, psychiatrist, and psychologist.)
Educate self, then others who suffer from mental illness, family, friends of those who suffer from mental illness. 

My Objective :

To serve the mentally ill population by engaging in relapse prevention programs, family intervention, facilitating support groups and spiritual intervention. 

My Goals :

To offer and practice the HOPE method of remission.
To offer each person the hope of holding onto dignity. 
To offer the Eucharist to persons wishing to receive.
